What is SOZO Prayer?

Sozo is an inner healing and restoration ministry, aiming to remove anything that inhibits intimacy with the Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit.

Sozo is a gentle and powerful ministry that identifies lies we may be believing about ourselves or God. By identifying these lies we are able to renounce them, hear truth directly from God, and proclaim that truth over our lives. The two main purposes of sozo prayer are deeper intimacy with God and freedom.

FAQ

How long does a session last?

A session may last up to 1 - 2.5 hours.

Who is present during a session?

A team of two or three will pray with the one person receiving sozo prayer. Sozo is a minstry offered to individuals.

Is there anything I need to do before a session?

All you need to do is come surrendered to the Holy Spirit and open to what may come up. After the session you will walk away with tools to retain freedom you've experienced. We encourage you to testify and be vulnerable to your Christian community. We will follow up with you to hear how life is going since your session and to see if there is anything else we can help you with.

Is it Biblical?

Sozo is a Greek word used 110 times in the New Testament and means, to save, make well, or make whole. We believe God doesn't want us to live in sin patterns that limit our intimacy with him and others. We also believe Jesus Christ is our only mediator (1 Timothy 2:5), but with the guidance of a prayer team Holy Spirit can reveal what the enemy has used against us.

John 10:10 - The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

How do I know if it is for me?

If you love God and want a deeper relationship with him, then Sozo prayer is for you! Many people come for Sozo prayer to strengthen their intimacy with him. Others come when struggling to hear God's voice, wrestling to overcome wounds, or when struggling with a particular sin pattern in their life.

Do I need to be a member?

No! Anyone is welcome to schedule a session and to feel no pressure to commit to regular attendance of KLC.
